The future development direction of food conveyor:
(1) Large transportation volume, fast running speed and long service life. High-speed operation means improving production efficiency and reducing product cost per unit time; damage is currently the most common source of failure in the use of food conveyors, reducing the friction between the material and the food, adjusting the wear resistance of the food shaft, and improving the characteristics of the material. It can greatly improve the service life of food conveyors.
(2) Energy saving and reducing power consumption. Most of the electrical energy of food conveyors is consumed by friction damage, so reducing electrical energy consumption is the difficulty and development direction that food conveyor scientific research and design plans need to deal with in the future.
(3) The development of intelligent systems. The future food conveyor should be closely connected with the computer to meet the needs of system control and intelligent operation. Conveyor operation status monitoring, remote control, fault warning, and regular maintenance should be able to complete intelligent management operations.
(4) The indoor space can be bent and transported. Horizontal food conveyors are difficult to function in certain fixed spaces due to structural limitations. In recent years, bendable food conveyors and elastic conveyors have appeared.
(5) Composition of composite transportation. The food conveyor is used to integrate various continuous conveying machinery to carry out complex material conveying.
(6) Expand the scope of application. At this stage, the scope of application of food conveyors is still very small. To broaden its scope of application, scientific research is needed for conveyors that can work in environments with ultra-high temperature, ultra-low temperature, corrosion, radioactive materials, and flammable chemicals. And it can transport flammable, explosive, easily agglomerated, and highly viscous food conveyors.
(7) Environmental protection awareness design plan. Reducing environmental pollution and completing green design is the main theme of global industrial production in the future. Traditional conveyors convey materials in an open type. When conveying powdery and granular materials, the materials fall and fly more seriously, which endanger the surrounding natural environment. To deal with this difficulty, there is no doubt that it has great advantages and expansion capacity.
