Full Strand Weaving is a joining method where a single strand is taken from the excess belt and woven through the leading and trailing ends to create a join. This method is very popular with coating and enrobing applications since belt strength is maintained and the carrying surface uninterrupted, resulting in no product marking at the belt joint.

Step 1
The arrows in the belt illustrate the movement of the splicing strand between steps.
Begin Joining In The Center. When bending the splicing strand, try to limit bending to straight portions of the strand rather than in the "Z" bend area.
Step 2
Insert the strand ends up through the center space of the opposite near side edge.
Step 3
Flex or bend in the center of the next space and insert it down through and around the Z-bend in this space on the belt end wire closest to you.
Step 4
Bend the wire toward the center and insert it up through and around the Z-bend next to the center space.
Step 5
Repeat these three moves until you reach the side edge of the belt.
Step 6
Using your pliers, connect the join strand’s edge loop to the belt’s edge loop on the near edge by hooking the edge loop up.
